Kelly Lynn Venardos, a daughter of Karen Keegan Venardos and Lane Beall Venardos of Wailea, Hawaii, was married yesterday to Peter J. Ward, a son of Mary Sheehan Ward of Spring Lake Heights, N.J., and the late John F. Ward. The Rev. Peter Dumag performed the ceremony at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church in Kihei, Hawaii. Ms. Venardos, 36, is keeping her name. She is a producer in New York for ''The Nightly News With Tom Brokaw'' on NBC. She graduated from Ithaca College. Her father retired as the executive producer and director of special events at CBS-TV in New York and is now a broadcast consultant. Her mother, a registered nurse, retired as the manager and director of nursing for the Rockland Homecare Team in Spring Valley, N.Y. She is now the board president of Women Helping Women, a nonprofit program for victims of domestic violence on the island of Maui.
