Armed Police Begin Antiterrorism Patrols in Beijing

Beijing has begun special armed patrols in the city, with as many as 13 paramilitary police officers deployed in each of 150 patrol vehicles in an effort to deter terrorist attacks and “mass incidents,” according to multiple Chinese news reports.
