Better yet, ask her what should become of Mr. Peterson, who was found guilty last month of killing his wife and unborn son. ''I would seek the death penalty,'' she'll say in a voice that begins as a soft whisper and quickly swells into an indignant roar. ''You do not kill a defenseless pregnant lady, throw her body into the cold water and then let her family suffer for months, to have some hope that she'll come home alive, to keep their Christmas tree up waiting for the day. No. No. No.''
