Christopher Henry Smith (Rahway, Nueva Jersey, 4 de marzo de 1953), más conocido como Chris Smith, es un político estadounidense que se desempeña desde 1981 como representante para el 4.º distrito congresional de Nueva Jersey. Smith es miembro del Partido Republicano, habiéndose cambiado del Partido Demócrata en 1978. El distrito tiene sede en Trenton e incluye porciones importantes del área central de Nueva Jersey.

Smith es el decano de la delegación congresional de Nueva Jersey y el miembro del Congreso con más años de servicio en la historia del estado.​ A lo largo de su carrera, ha centrado gran parte de su trabajo en la promoción de los derechos humanos en el extranjero, incluyendo la autoría de la Ley de Protección de las Víctimas de la Trata y la Violencia de 2000 y varias leyes posteriores.
