Akilles Eero Johannes Järvinen (ur. 19 września 1905 w Jyväskylä, zm. 7 marca 1943 w Tampere) – fiński lekkoatleta, dwukrotny medalista olimpijski.
Järvinen pochodził z usportowionej rodziny. Jego ojciec Verner był dyskobolem, medalistą olimpijskim z Londynu (1908), a bracia także byli olimpijczykami: Matti był mistrzem olimpijskim w rzucie oszczepem, a Kalle był kulomiotem.
Akilles Järvinen był wszechstronnym lekkoatletą, który największe sukcesy odniósł w dziesięcioboju. Na igrzyskach olimpijskich w 1928 w Amsterdamie zdobył w tej konkurencji srebrny medal, przegrywając jedyne ze swym rodakiem Paavo Yrjölą. WASHINGTON, Sept. 19. -- Indications of a rate war between the transportation companies operating steamship lines in the inter-island trade of the Philippines and foreign ships plying between Hongkong and other Oriental ports is contained in information received here through Governmental channels.

In spite of the announcement yesterday of the engagement of $2,350,000 gold for import, the stock market, which greeted last week's announcement of a smaller import movement with enthusiasm, was dull and weak, declines of substantial fractions occurring throughout the list with losses of a point or more in many issues.
