Shen He (Chinese: 沈鹤; born 7 May 1981), better known by his stage name Xiaoshenyang (Chinese: 小沈阳), is a Chinese actor. He was a student of Zhao Benshan and was an errenzhuan performer before joining the film and television industry.

Xiaoshenyang became famous immediately in China after the 2009 CCTV New Year's Gala, where he stole the thunder from Zhao playing an effeminate restaurant waiter in a skit. He also showed off his considerable vocal prowess. He continued to attend the CCTV New Year's Gala during the following three years, and now attends New Year's Gala in Beijing TV and Liaoning TV.

He changed his name to "Xiaoshenyang" to show his sincerity for his wife—the name was based on his wife's name, "Shen Chunyang". "Yang" means sun, therefore, his fans are the "Yangguang" ("Sunshine").

Xiaoshenyang has acted in Zhao Benshan's television series Rural Love 2 and Rural Love Stories and in Zhang Yimou's A Simple Noodle Story.

REPORTER'S NOTEBOOK: HUNT FOR A DEFINITION OF NEWS

Creed C. Black, the editor of The Herald Leader in Lexington, Ky., was telling a dozen publishers of medium-size newspapers yesterday about the kinds of news they ought to be looking for to enliven their columns and attract and hold new readers. He ran through a familiar list of stories about economics, health, politics, people and ''service information'' such as television schedules and calendars of coming events. He encouraged them to get rid of ''the exhaustive deliberations of public officials over questions that are probably academic anyway.'' But ultimately, Mr. Black said, the definition of news is simple - it is ''anything that happens to, or near, a publisher.''

Around the World; Purported Royal Tapes Barred by German Court

A court here today banned a magazine from publishing transcripts of what were said to be telephone conversations between Prince Charles of Britain and his fiancee, Lady Diana Spencer. A spokesman for the Nuremberg-Furth Civil Court said the judges had ordered the magazine Die Aktuelle not to publish any part of the conversations, said to have been taped in Australia. The order was sought by lawyers for Prince Charles and Lady Diana.

Advertising; Newspaper Ad Revenue Expected to Strengthen

Jack Kauffman, president of the Newspaper Advertising Bureau, yesterday told the membership that 1981 was going to be a little better than he had thought earlier, at least in the advertising arena. His new forecast is that revenues will rise 13 percent, rather than 12 percent, with the contributions coming from national, up 16 percent; retail, 14 percent, and classified, 10 percent.

'The Election Was Over'

He's now chairman of the Democratic National Committee, but last Nov. 4 he was walking a North Hollywood precinct for a California Congressman. Though the polls were still open, television had already projected the Reagan win. ''In three different households,'' he recalls, ''people said, hadn't I heard - the election was over. There was no point in going to vote.''

He was a beefy, soft-skinned man more at home on the golf course than in a trucker's cab or on a loading dock. He brooked no nonsense and while he was a bumbling speaker, Frank E. Fitzsimmons probably was a lot smarter, at least in the ways of union power, than people thought. That would include James R. Hoffa, whom Mr. Fitzsimmons successfully resisted when Mr. Hoffa, after a prison term, decided that it would be pleasant to regain the union presidency. Now Mr. Fitzsimmons, 73 years old, is dead of cancer. Only a year ago associates were denying that he had cancer, and three weeks ago, they were saying he might still overcome the disease. His death will set in motion intensive action within the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, the two million-member labor union that Mr. Fitzsimmons headed since 1967. But his death probably means little in regard to the way the union is run.

After less than one year with U.S. News & World Report, James H. McIlhenny has become the boss. Yesterday, John H. Sweet, the 73-year-old chairman, president and chief executive, turned those last two titles over to his 53-yearold associate, who joined the company last August as an executive vice president and chief operating officer. He so quickly adapted to the business that by mid-October he was poolside in Palm Springs, Calif., enjoying the Magazine Publishers Association annual meeting with all the rest of the mighties.
