더원(The One, 1974년 3월 26일 ~ ) 또는 정순원(鄭淳元)은 대한민국의 대중음악인이며, 한국에서는 더원, 중화권에서는 본명인 정순원으로 활동하고 있다. 대표곡으로는 〈사랑아〉, 〈겨울사랑〉, 〈I Do〉, 〈내 여자〉, 〈잘 있나요〉, 〈보낼 수 없는 너〉, 태연과 부른〈별처럼〉등이 있다. 2012년에는 나는 가수다 II의 새가수 선발전에 참가해 1위를 차지하여 본 무대까지 올랐는데 첫번째, 두번째 경연에서 모두 1위를 하며 '9월의 가수'로 초고속 졸업을 하였고, 《나는 가수다 II 슈퍼디셈버 2012》의 개막제까지 1위를 하며 4연속 1위를 차지하는 괴력을 보여주었다. 계속해서 좋은 무대를 보여주며 결국에는 최종 우승으로 가왕의 자리까지 오르는 영광을 안았다. 이 후에 불후의 명곡 - 전설을 노래하다에서 이선희, 이치현, 김현철 편의 최종 우승, 미스터리 음악쇼 복면가왕에서는 9연승을 하던 '우리 동네 음악대장' 하현우를 무너뜨리고 2연승 하며, 31, 32대 가왕에 올라 자타공인 대한민국 최고의 보컬리스트다운 모습을 보여줬다. 또, 중국판 '나는 가수다3'에서도 강력한 중국 가수들 사이에서 한국인 최초로 출연해 최종 3위까지 오르는 등 국내를 넘어 중국까지 사로잡은 명실상부 '아시아의 가왕'으로 자리매김한 실력자다.
